FAQ

What is the best neoprene fabric for scuba diving / wetsuits?

The best neoprene fabric for scuba diving / wetsuits are ones made from closed-cell foam neoprene. Closed-cell foam neoprene is neoprene scuba fabric infused with nitrogen to increase insulation and buoyancy. Check out our Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof Fabric.

What is the difference between neoprene and scuba?

Neoprene and scuba are used interchangeably. Generally, they both refer to a layer of foam sandwiched between two synthetic knit sheets of fabric. We also offer Scuba Double Knit fabric, two synthetic sheets of fabric woven together without the layer of foam. It should be noted that closed cell foam neoprene fabric is needed for underwater diving.
