Description
Zigzag starlight sequins fabric features dazzling 3mm micro sequins sewn all-over on a 50" wide soft polyester spandex mesh ground. This light to medium weight sequins fabric has subtle but definite 4-way stretch. The fabric also features an elegant embroidery selvage that helps to prevent the sequins from unraveling or fraying. When this fabric is stretched heavily, the fabric is able to recover to its original form. This is truly an excellent sequins fabric in all aspects.
Although zigzag starlight sequins fabric features the same type of composition as all-over micro sequins starlight on stretch mesh, it differs in sequins style, as this fabric features sequins that have been carefully sewn onto its mesh backing in a zigzag pattern, rather than in one uniform fashion. This gives this fabric a unique abstract-like look, that is sure to turn heads at any event!

First time sewing
Great fabric, first time ever sewing an outfit and I did a skirt and top for a festival. Absolutely loved the fabric although I found mine at the thrift store, it’s the same color and print and had no issues with my sewing machine. I used a metallic lurex jersey material for the underlay in the top and it sewed with ease. Glad I found where the fabric originally came from as I will be buying more in different colors! 10/10

I had 2 needles break, but they were both on the serger. My sewing machine had no problem with straight or zig zag, except the top and bottom layer sometimes fed at different rates. I suggest pinning a lot. I fed the fabric gradually, pushing down on both layers and forward toward the needle and this helped a lot. There's almost no vertical stretch but some horizontal stretch.

Great quality, good cuts
This sequin fabric is a real workhorse in my studio. I find the colors from FWD are accurate and the lengths they send are correct. I love to buy from them.
