Wow, the fabric is even more beautiful in person. The design is so ornate and shiny. I got the color gold. The back mesh is a subtle champagne color. It is very fine and slightly shiny. The embroidery is made from a tiny gray string wrapped in narrow gold ribbon (as you will see when you cut through it). I got a few yards and in total there were only about 3 minor places where the gold ribbon had come slightly undone and revealed a bit of the gray string underneath. That being said, the material is so gorgeous and detailed, you would never notice it from afar. It was also easy enough for me to fix with a hand needle. My heavy duty singer machine sewed through this fabric easily. The drape is also lovely, since the back material is flexible and soft. I would believe this fabric was $60 a yard easily. Buy it—you will not regret it!
