Lino Italiano fabric is a stylish, polyester-viscose linen fabric that is soft, slightly textured and durable. Woven with a blend of 70% polyester and 30% viscose fibers, Lino Italiano fabric is woven in a plain style weave. An alternative to traditional linen, Lino Italiano fabric resists wrinkles and is more durable and insulating than other fabrics made from linen fibers. Lino Italiano fabric weighs approximately 10oz per linear yard, has a 196 GSM, measures 58/60" in width, and has a 0.38mm thickness. Additionally, Lino Italiano fabric features gorgeous scalloped edges, with 7 stars and the words "LINO ITALIANO" embroidered across both the top and bottom lengths of the fabric. I find this fabric to be of very good quality. It washes, wears well and doesn’t wrinkle as bad as regular linen, yet has a nice drape and give. I do prewash before sewing. I’ve found very little to no shrinkage. Washing, to me, just makes it a little easier to work with. I think I now have almost every color! Love it!

Luscious Linen
I wanted to order this back in summer but time got away from me. Now with the year end sale I snagged a deal. This is yet another quality product from FWD. It's a nice poly that doesn't feel as scratchy as 100% cotton and has a nice weight and drape to it. I bought it to make a shirt with and have enough to make shorts too go with. Now I'll have a matching set for summer. I ordered more of this in khaki and will leave another review with pictures soon. Don't feel bad buying this linen for spring and summer outfits.

This is nicer than I expected!
I bought this to make dinner napkins. The drape is beautiful and the fabric is easy to work with having the appearance of fine linen. I will be purchasing this for other projects in the future.
