Maxant Buttons To Cover 60L (38mm) Tool & Button Kits contain all the hardware you will need to add large, 1-1/2 inch fabric cover buttons to your next apparel or decor project. The buttons that come with this Maxant Buttons To Cover 60L (38mm) Tool & Button Kit measure 60 ligne, 38 millimeters, or approximately 1-1/2 inches in diameter. This kit contains 2 aluminum button backs and shells, a template for cutting fabric, and a pusher and mold used for assembling wrinkle-free cover buttons. All you will need is your favorite fabric to add to the cover buttons.

Using a Maxant Buttons To Cover 60L (38mm) Tool & Button Kit is simple. First, trace and cut your fabric by using the template. Then center the fabric over the mold and insert the button shell. Next, tuck in the cloth and snap in the back of the button with the pusher. Lastly, apply or sew the button onto your project.

loved making covered buttons

I had never made covered buttons before. I wanted to make a padded, tufted headboard for my kid's twin bed. This fabric, and the large buttons worked out exactly like what I had in my head. The kit with the tools does include a "smasher" that is just a plastic lid from a bottle and will need to be replaced after 10 buttons. But I can replace that easily.
