Due to the thickness of the vinyl, it has taken me much longer than expected to "unravel" it. It was delivered in a tight roll and it's taken about 3 weeks to relax. I was aslo disappointed in the clarity; it wasn't very clear and certainly couldn't be used where clarity is important. My use was as protective table covers, so the blemishes and ripple marks weren't that important to me, as a tablecloth is used atop the vinyl. If I were to do it again, I could get by with half the thickness, so mea culpa.

Indoor Greenhouse
This item was the perfect weight/thickness for what I was making. Unlike some other reviews, it came on a roll with no creases and no blemishes or cloudy spots.

Vinyl for window use
Quality product, pleased with shipping time

Extremely thick and durable
I’m making winter panels for my screened in porch and purchased the 80 gauge for a large transom that’s south facing and measures 36” x 170”. The vinyl arrived when it was 9 degrees outside, so it was very stiff to work with at first. But once I brought it inside and it warmed up, I opened the package and found it very neatly packed and wrapped in tissue paper. I cut everything on thick kraft paper on my kitchen floor and taped each panel to the floor so it would relax/flatten out. I layered kraft paper between each panel and actually kept it taped to the floor while I worked on other Christmas projects. (It sort of acted like a floor protector!) The 80 gauge vinyl is extremely thick and heavy, and while you can see through it, it’s not crystal clear by any means. Once it warmed up, I was able to cut it (slowly) with high quality meat shears, and it had no problem remaining flat after taping it down with painters tape. Due to the size and weight of the panels, I’m reconfiguring how I plan to hang them on my porch. At this time, my plan is to install threaded inserts into the fixed porch structure and grommets into the vinyl. I’ll mount the panels with washers and screws that will attach to the threaded inserts. Depending on rigidity and flex, I may add velcro to keep the draft out. I rolled up the extra 80 gauge vinyl without issue and plan to use it on a golf cart enclosure project. For the price, quality, free shipping and extremely fast turnaround time…this vinyl is an excellent value!

Love love love this vinyl
I make/sell handbags and I don't know how many yards of this clear vinyl I've bought. It's the best!

Perfect!
This is great! I am using it to make insulated window inserts and it if easy to cut and work with and ten time cheaper that having inserts made. The quotes I was getting for 8 windows were in the $2400.00 range and I am going to be able to complete the job with about a $300.00 investment (vinyl + wood framing.) I will also be ordering a thinner vinyl to do the same thing to a friends house that is 120 year old. Great product, great price!
