Description
Compression Wicking Performance Jersey fabric is a soft and thick, moisture wicking textile that can be made into stretchy and tightly comfortable apparel. This fabric is knit in a jersey style from a wrinkle-resistant fiber blend of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The nylon content of Compression Wicking Performance Jersey allows this fabric to be durable and dyed in bright colors, while the spandex gives this material the ability to stretch 20% horizontally, 20% vertically, and then snap back to its original shape, repeatedly without damage. Furthermore, Compression Wicking Performance Jersey is also made to repel and draw water away from the fabric, in addition to having a sun protection factor of SPF-50. In other words, this material is quick drying, and wearing this fabric means that it will offer sun protection for 50 times longer than wearing no fabric. Measuring 63/64 inches wide, Compression Wicking Performance Jersey fabric is 0.72 millimeters thick, has a 350 GSM, and weighs approximately 22.4 ounces per linear yard.

I purchased as a swatch. Nice choice of colors. I have not sewn with it yet. I would call this medium weight. Eventually I will make leggings with it. I gave it a 4 as I have not sewn with it yet.

This is gorgeous bottom weight fabric that I used to make a tennis skirt. Its a lovely weight, definitely not see through and has a great supportive stretch. I will definitely be adding more of this to my next order. It sewed like a dream.

great fabric for pants
I've not made any pants yet, but purchased it to make workout leggings. It is the same weight and stretch of leggings I already have, so look forward to making more. It is a great weight and has great stretch.

Nice fabric, sadly came flawed.
This is a nice green fabric and had a great stretch. Sadly the yardage I bought came flawed, but I don't think that is normal. I am repeat customer from this store.
