YKK #3 Nylon Closed End Zippers are a type of colorful, lightweight zippers that feature an auto-locking slide and a closed non-separating end. These YKK #3 Nylon Closed End Zippers are sold by color, in both 9-inch, 0.14-ounce, and 22-inch, 0.25-ounce sizes. These small to medium-sized, lightweight zippers display a nylon coil, with teeth that measure 4 millimeters wide when zipped closed. Furthermore, this coil is secured to durable and colorful polyester tape which is 5/8 inches wide when open, or 1-1/8 inches closed.

YKK #3 Nylon Closed End Zippers come with an enamel, automatic locking slider. This means that the only way to open or close this zipper is by using the 11/16 x 1/8-inch enamel pull. Additionally, at the bottom of the zipper, there is a colored stopper that prevents the zipper from opening further and keeps the zipper from fully separating.

Care Instructions

It is recommended to keep the zipper closed when it is not in use. Machine wash the zipper closed, on a low-temperature setting. When drying, tumble dry the zipper closed, at temperatures less than 320° F. Lastly, zippers can be ironed under 320° F. For extra precaution, place a piece of fabric between the zipper and the iron.
