Great fabric
The Ottertex® Water Repellent Nylon Oxford was perfect for our project. The material is easy to work with and ran through the sewing machine smoothly. Planning on using it again?
Better than before
Had zero issues with my order or the ordering process. The price was fair and the product is great. It should hold up for a long time. Not being familiar with fabrics I should have maybe chose a less stiff fabric to reupholster or dining chairs. I had troubles making the folds around the corners and curves of the seats. That's a lack of experience issue though, no fault of anyone else.
Good product
It’s exactly what I needed. I couldn’t find the same fabric locally.
Pretty good but...
The fabric is pretty much as described, however it is definitely more difficult to work with than I expected, mostly because it's so tough to press and doesn't really hold a crease. I would not recommend using this for apparel unless you are very patient and are doing something pretty simple. Also the plastic coating feels GROSS against your skin so I ended up having to put a lining on the asymmetrical vest I'm making... making the cargo pockets with it was pretty frustrating, my heavy duty Singer could only go through like four layers. That being said the vest turning out really well and the coating does give it nice structure so if you're ready to fight it a bit it could be worth it, although there are probably better options. Seems like I am the only one dumb enough to try to use it for clothing - although the description made me think it would work.
