Description
Metallic moonlight on interlock is 57/58" inches wide usable with an additional 3-4" inch selvage composed of 69% polyester, 21% PET and 10% TPU. This fabric features an interlock knit backing with shiny micro dots and a shiny metallic layer on top which gives it a two-tone color effect. The shimmery surface of the fabric has a smooth yet grainy texture, while the under layer gives off a smooth jersey-knit touch. In addition this fabric has a vertical two-way stretch.
This fabric has an eye-catching sparkle effect that can be used for apparel such as costumes, dance-wear, dresses and more. The fabric is perfect for overlaying on other materials to create beautiful stylish garments.

Metallic Moonlight on interlock
This fabric was so easy to work with… easy to cut & easy to sew! It was a thicker fabric than I thought. The color is gorgeous… lots of pink & blue depending on which way the light hits it. I made a dress for a wedding & a gathered skirt for my granddaughter. I wouldn’t recommend it for gathered projects because it’s quiet bulky when gathered, but my granddaughter doesn’t mind & absolutely loves it.

I was impressed by the wide varieties of fabrics and colors FWD offered, so I ordered a wide range of swatches so I could see and compare in person. The order came sooner than the provided delivery window, and all of the swatch cards are perfectly prepared with all the necessary fabric and style info. The colors and textures of the swatches also match the way they’re presented on the site, which is great. Overall, great experience and will continue referring to FWD to swatches and potential fabrics for upcoming projects.
