Glitter ITY Knit Jersey fabric is a shiny, softly textured, and stretchy fabric with sparkly glitter dispersed throughout the fabric. Knit in a jersey style, Glitter ITY Knit Jersey fabric is manufactured by interlocking twisted yarns that are made with a fiber blend of 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Due to how it is made, Glitter ITY Knit Jersey can stretch 40% vertically and 15% horizontally from its original size. Additionally, the Glitter ITY Knit fabric is adorned with matching colored glitter throughout the face of the fabric. The glitter is lustrous and gives the fabric a subtle texture on its face, while the back of the fabric remains a plain ITY with no glitter. Measuring 58/60 inches wide, Glitter ITY Knit is 0.46 millimeters thick, has a 235 GSM, and weighs approximately 11.6 ounces per linear yard. This chic fabric can be used for many purposes.

This was much easier to sew with than I anticipated. I've made two Pattern Emporium Songbird Kimonos, one black and the other the red/burgundy color. Both came out beautifully. If you wear dark clothes while sewing, be prepared to be sparkly the rest of the day!

I bought this fabric for a dress for a formal banquet. The fabric is beautiful and I got so many compliments on my dress. The glitter seemed to shed more after it was washed but it wasn’t too bad. Overall I’m very pleased. The wine color is gorgeous.
