Stretch broadcloth is a tightly woven plain weave fabric comprised of a 75% polyester, 22% cotton, 3% spandex with a slight vertical stretch. This medium to lightweight 58/59" wide broadcloth weighs approximately 5.3 oz per linear yard and has a soft breathable finish, making it ideal for all types of crafts and garments.
This timeless broadcloth fabric has proven its versatility through its various applications in quilting, crafts, children's garments, table covers, decorations and more. Its slight spandex stretch also increases its versatility, as it allows for mobility when used to create garments and backdrops. It's an easy to use fabric that is also conveniently machine washable.

Great for halloween costume
I bought this with the intention of dying it and using it for a halloween costume. It took the Rit dye well even though it’s more than 30% poly. The slight stretch made sure the top was comfortable and fitted. Overall happy with my purchase.
