Description
There is nothing FOWL about our 7oz cotton duck canvas fabric! Using a tight plain-weave with two thick yarns in the warp, and one thick yarn in the weft, this fabric is extremely durable and stronger than regular canvas fabric. 7oz cotton duck canvas fabric has no stretch, light flow, is insulating, and the lightest weight duck canvas available. Canvas generally has a coarser texture, but our imported cotton duck is smoother and more pliable.
This 7oz cotton duck canvas fabric is easy to work with and can be used for a variety of crafts and apparel. Weighing only 7oz and easily washable, this fabric's durability will make great garments such as shoes, shorts, pants, shirts, jackets, and hats. Additionally, our cotton duck canvas can be used to craft re-usable tote bags, furniture slipcovers, tablecloths, and for painting.

I used this fabric for door draft stoppers and it was easy to sew with and sturdy for longevity. This particular 7oz fabric has the right amount of thickness for this application. Other 7oz Natural duck fabrics that I had tried were too thin. Other Natural duck fabrics that that I tried were 10 ozs and were too thick and stiff making it difficult to make door draft stoppers. My favorite Natural duck fabric is by James Thompson but I can no longer find it available. This one is a winner.

Perfect for lining bags
I used the 7oz cotton duck as lining for a new line of waxed canvas bucket bags I sell in my shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/Zakken). The cotton duck is perfect for this purpose. It is not too thin, nor too thick , easy to cut and sew, and it doesn’t fray easily. I am very happy with my purchase!
