Knit from a blend of 95% sustainable bamboo and 5% spandex, this fabric is made to stretch up to 50% vertically and 60% horizontally and is treated to be antimicrobial. Additionally, the bamboo rayon content of Bamboo Jersey Knit gives the fabric a soft and smooth texture and allows it to be hydrophobic and wick moisture.
Measuring 60/61 inches wide, Bamboo Jersey Knit fabric has a thickness of 0.50 millimeters, it has a 220 GSM, and weighs approximately 13 ounces per linear yard. Furthermore, while this fabric is thick, it is slightly sheer and allows for breathability.

Pretty In Pink
The fabric has a pretty bright pink color that is very complimentary to all skin tones. This is the first time I have purchased bamboo knit from FWD. In comparison to other companies, FWD brand is a bit thinner, thus making it a bit slippery and kind of hard to work with. The lightweight and bamboo qualities make this fabric a good choice for warmer climates or hot summer days.
