Description
Brushed polyester wool coating is a warm, comfortable, and durable brushed polyester wool-like fabric. It is 59" wide and 100% polyester. This fabric is extremely soft and features a coarse haired wool-like texture. The completely opaque fabric removes the need for any lining. However you may pair it with a satin lining to add comfort and style to your garment. This fabric is so luxurious, it is frequently confused as real 100% wool.
This coating fabric is ideal for fall and winter seasons. It is soft to the touch and perfect for coats, jackets, cloaks, scarves, gloves and many other garments. Endless opportunities to transform this fabric into your next project to keep you warm and elegant.
With thousands of yards available in numerous colors, you are sure to find the perfect polyester wool coating that works for you. This fabric is manufactured by Fabric Wholesale Direct, cut to order, and sold by the yard.

It’s not wool
I found this fabric to be more see-through than I anticipated. The weave isn’t as tight as wool of the same type would be, and the bright blue lining I chose showed through as a shadowy blue. It also tends to fray more than I thought it would, so serging or zigzagging the pieces after they’re cut is a good move.
