Description
Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof fabric is a dense and insulated waterproof fabric. Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof fabric is made from a 57" wide sheet of foamed chloroprene combined between two sheets of 60" jersey fabric. The 60" jersey fabric is smooth, comfortable, and made from a blend of 92% polyester fibers and 8% spandex fibers. Approximately 2.8mm thick, Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof fabric has a 595 GSM, and weighs approximately 2.1 lbs per linear yard.
Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof fabric is water and air resistant. This means that Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof fabric may allow small amounts of air or water to pass through, however, the air or water becomes trapped and will insulate whatever is behind the fabric. Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof fabric is also resistant to gas, oil, and heat.

We used the the Closed Cell Bonded Neoprene Waterproof for a shoulder padding application in our utility vest garment. It was the perfect material and width for us to stitch into the shoulder yokes as a permanent padding solution.

Using DTF transfers - I've had to find the right balance of temperatures for max adhesion and minimal shrinkage/melting of the rubber - but the product is real nice - though the folding of the product for shipping resulted in some creasing.
