Cotton Voile is a see-through, lightweight, and softly textured fabric. Sourced from hypoallergic, 100% cotton fibers, this fabric is woven in a plain style weave. This manufacturing process makes the fabric have a higher tensile strength, while still maintaining breathable, sheer, and lightweight characteristics. Measuring 57/58 inches wide, Cotton Voile is 0.20 millimeters thick, has a 70 GSM, and weighs approximately 3.8 ounces per linear yard.

Excellent for lining and historical costuming
This might be my new favorite for lining costumes and making foundation garments for historical costuming. I've used it in several colors now, and keep coming back for more because it's so versatile and easy to use. Obviously it frays a lot, but when using it as a lining that's not a problem, and I just serge it the rest of the time.
