Description
Floral burnout silk chiffon fabric consist of 30% silk and 70% rayon and is 43/44" wide. Burnout silk chiffon fabric is very similar to chiffon in both drape and feel, but tends to be slightly heavier. The method of eliminating fibers is know as the burnout method which is why the fabric has unique designs embedded into it allowing a slight shine under the light.
This burnout silk chiffon features a printed floral design. This fabric is thin and sheer allowing its burnout pattern to pop providing a 3-dimensional look. It's lightweight and flowing drape makes it great for overlays, sheer inserts, scarves and drape extensions. Our designers use the burnout silk chiffon for tops, blouses, skirts and dresses.
