Description
Ottertex® Water-Repellent 70D (1.9oz) DWR Nylon Ripstop fabric is a smooth, pliable, and lightweight fabric that is tear-resistant and water-repellant. Woven with 100% nylon fibers measuring 70 denier, Ottertex® Water-Repellent 70D (1.9oz) DWR Nylon Ripstop is relatively thin and lightweight, while also being very durable. The fabric is also treated with a DWR, or durable water-repellent coating, meaning it is hydrophobic, or has the ability to repel liquids. Ottertex® Water-Repellent 70D (1.9oz) DWR Nylon Ripstop features reinforced stitching every 1/8 of an inch to prevent rips and tears, which can be identified by the fabric’s subtle grid-like pattern. Measuring 58/60 inches in width, Ottertex® Water-Repellent 70D (1.9oz) DWR Nylon Ripstop fabric has a 70 GSM, weighs approximately 4.1 ounces per linear yard, and measures 0.12 mm in thickness.

I got the fabric and it isn’t going to work for my project. It’s way too lightweight for the project I was planning. I’ll use it for something else someday. If you buy this just know it’s lightweight and sheer so you can see thru even the khaki color. Won’t work for pants.
