This fabric measures 58/60 inches wide, this fabric is 0.17 millimeters thick, has a 90 GSM, and weighs approximately 4 ounces per linear yard. Furthermore, this thin and lightweight fabric also is very fluid and gracefully flows when it is hung.

Good Value

I have ordered the charmeuse several times to fill orders for customers. It sews easily although when gathering the skirts it does fray. I just take my time and make sure to serge or finish with French seams. One of my items ordered was not included in the shipment . When I sent a notice, they quickly replied and corrected the mistake. I appreciate their making it right so quickly.

Fabric review

Although charmeuse is a little tricky to work with, the results are very elegant. I used the wrong side of the fabric, which is more matte like for this cowl top.

Poly Charmeuse Satin

Love the colors, they definitely look as expected. I’m using it for a mockup dress before making one to elope! The edges do fray, so make sure to account for that while cutting & sewing. It drapes and feels as expected — it’s not so shiny that it looks cheap.
