Ottertex® Waterproof 70D (1.9oz) DWR and PU Coated Nylon Ripstop fabric is a crisp, durable, and lightweight fabric that is waterproof and tear-resistant. Made with 100%, 70 denier nylon fibers, Ottertex® Waterproof 70D (1.9oz) DWR and PU Coated Nylon Ripstop fabric is woven in a thin, plain weave style and has a smooth but crisp texture. This fabric features reinforced stitching every 1/8 of an inch to prevent ripping and tearing. Furthermore, Ottertex® Waterproof 70D (1.9oz) DWR and PU Coated Nylon Ripstop is coated with an added layer of DWR and polyurethane to make this fabric waterproof under high pressure in addition to being resistant to abrasion. This item is PFAS-free and has been updated with a PFAS-free FC0 PU Coating.
Ottertex® Waterproof 70D (1.9oz) DWR and PU Coated Nylon Ripstop fabric is tested for 160,000 double rubs (ASTM 4966), meaning this fabric can withstand high-traffic and everyday use. Measuring 62/63 inches in width, Ottertex® Waterproof 70D (1.9oz) DWR and PU Coated Nylon Ripstop fabric has a 70 GSM, weighs approximately 4.3 ounces per linear yard, and is 0.13 millimeters thick.

Easy to buy Ottertex
Fabric Wholesale Direct makes it very easy to buy Ottertex.I love the color selection. I use it a lot, sometimes in small lots and sometimes buy the roll, and find buying through the website very easy.

My favorite bag lining!
This stuff is my favorite to use for bag linings. It doesn’t need interfacing and it gives great structure. You can even use strips of it as binding - I just recommend running a lighter along the edge to singe any little fluffs.

Exactly as described
This is great if you need thin ripstop and the color is just as shown. My only minor complaint is that it seemed to have collected glitter from somewhere in the warehouse but we all know how hard it is to avoid glitter.

Exactly as expected
This was my first time working with ripstop, and this fabric was what I hoped it would be! I used it to make a picnic blanket. It’s fully waterproof, which is great.

Just what I needed
I was making a backpack (and a couple other bags) but this was the first time for this type and needed waterproof material for the inside as a lining. This was perfect!! I love it and it did the job. Good weight for the project (layered with two other fabrics) - not too thin, not too thick
