Woven on a jacquard loom in a satin weave, this fabric is created by floating vertical warp yarns over fewer weft yarns to form a rose and leaf motif that is built into the weave—not printed. This construction results in two usable sides: a glossy face with matte, textured patterns and a matte back with glossy, raised designs. The floral pattern repeats every 4 inches horizontally and every 5 inches vertically. Rose Jacquard Satin measures 59/60 inches wide, is 0.25 millimeters thick, has a 150 GSM weight, and weighs approximately 8.4 ounces per linear yard.
