Description
The stretch satin denim is a heavy weight, 69% cotton, 29% polyester, 2% spandex fabric that is 48/50” wide. It is also very durable, which gives it superior strength and hold. This fabric is also very flexible and has a soft touch. It is made from dyed warp thread, with integrated spandex, which gives it a very soft touch with great elasticity. This allows for the fabric to be stretched in 2 directions with ease. This denim is also different than the traditional bull denim, as it does not have the distinct twill weave pattern, but rather has a much more uniformly smooth texture instead.
The stretch satin denim can be used for a variety of apparel and fashion such as pants, jeans, jackets, totes, overalls and more. In addition, with its strong tear resistance, it is a great use for upholstery and home improvement needs such as slip covers, chair pads, and cushions. I was planning to make a dressy coat with the fabric, but having received it I decided to instead make a blazer. It should be fun to work with. This is going to be my winter project.

The Best!
I was so excited when I got my fabric! It's even prettier than I had pictured. Several things I like about this business: * They give you a little more yardage than you order. I like that because sometimes it is cut crooked, etc. * The information on each fabric is so thorough; width, stretch/no stretch, price, so many colors for most fabrics * You can order samples. This is so very helpful. I like to see and feel the fabric before I buy it. * Zippers, thread, etc are available. I live in very rural SD and 2-3 hours from an actual fabric store. It's nice to order accessories too. * I was super excited about the trims! I made a pair of jeans with this fabric and wanted some bling on the back pockets. It's very hard to find, but I found quite a variety of trims. * This was my first attempt at making jeans. They turned out great! I've already ordered more denim to make more jeans. * The prices are amazing.

The possibilities.
