Description
Sheer Organza is a thin, lightweight, and see-through fabric that features tiny, evenly spaced holes throughout the fabric. Woven with 100% polyester fibers, the yarns used to make this fabric are slightly twisted, giving it a crisp texture and stiff drape. Measuring 47/48 inches wide, Sheer Organza fabric is 0.10 millimeters thick, has a 30 GSM, and weighs approximately 1.11 ounces per linear yard. Additionally, Sheer Organza is both breathable and shiny, however, it is not as shiny as other types of organza fabrics.

The fabric is in line with the price—that is to say, it is pretty cheap. The website lists this fabric as having a stiff drape, and I do not personally feel that this drape is very stiff. I hoped for something a bit stiffer. Unfortunately, I can't use this to add light stiffness as an interlining, as planned. I would have returned if it wasn't more expensive for me to do so. The main benefit is that the fabric is exceptionally light, and the quality is good enough for me to find another use for it. It will probably work for me as a lining for a flowy skirt. An additional benefit are that it is pretty soft to the touch and it looks exactly as pictured.
