Sourced from 100% natural and hypoallergenic silk fibers, Silk Charmeuse Satin fabric is woven in a special, satin-style weave that features a 4 over 1, warp-weft pattern. The 4 over 1, warp weft pattern means that 1 warp thread will pass under 4 weft threads horizontally. This leaves mostly uninterrupted vertical weft threads showing on the reflective face of the fabric. Silk Charmeuse Satin fabric measures 45 inches in width, is 0.18 millimeters thick, has a 90 GSM, and weighs approximately 4 ounces per linear yard, or 25 mommes.

I used this silk fabric for a bias cut dress, and it feels amazing to work with. The color, the drape, and the flowyness of it matches perfectly with the vibe my client and I were going for her Prom Dress. Definitely Recommend it! Ps. Make sure to always Staystitch and stabilize the pieces already cutted to prevent shapeshifting. That's a rule of thumb when working on the bias of the fabric. :) <3
