Description
1/2" Double Fold Bias Tape is a smooth textured, crisp-feeling strip of fabric that is used primarily as a hem facing. Cut diagonally from plain woven fabric, 1/2" Double Fold Bias Tape is soft and offers a slight mechanical stretch. With a total width of 1.5 inches, the tape comes folded and pressed three times into a “V-shape” with each side measuring 0.5 inches. This double fold makes 1/2" Double Fold Bias Tape sturdy and gives it a thickness of 0.46 millimeters thick when folded or 0.23 millimeters thick when unfolded.
Add 1/2" Double Fold Bias Tape to unfinished edges of fabric. Create bindings on quilts and make decorative seam finishes on apparel or décor.
