Lightweight Knit Fusible Interfacing is a thin, lightweight, and soft fabric that can easily be attached to fabric to make it more stable. Knit from 100% polyester, this fusible interfacing fabric features heat activated polyamide dot glue and is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 rated for baby articles, meaning this material contains no harmful substances. Lightweight Knit Fusible Interfacing measures 59/60 inches wide, is 0.25 millimeters thick, has a 35 GSM, and weighs approximately 2.3 ounces per linear yard.
Lightweight Knit Fusible Interfacing can be applied to most fabrics to add body and support to apparel and décor projects. To add Lightweight Knit Fusible Interfacing, just place the dotted side of the material onto the back side of any fabric. Cover the non dotted side of the interfacing with a damp cloth and iron the cloth. The heat and steam will fuse the interfacing to the fabric. Lightweight Knit Fusible Interfacing can be added to clothing like baby garments, dresses, jackets, and décor items such as curtains and table covers to make them thicker and to add softness.
