How to soften linen fabric?
Linen naturally becomes softer after each wash. To speed up this process, replace your laundry detergent with baking soda in the washing machine. Additionally you can replace your fabric softener with a 1:1 solution of white vinegar and water.

I ordered as a swatch. I plan to sew with linen in the future. It is summer as it looks VERY breathable. Shear. It has a slight stiffness to it but It wouln't be uncomfortable to wear. It could even be used for window covering as a thick shear or maybe a backing so as to reduce fade.
