Beautiful drape and soft hand
I bought 10 yards of the Rayon Challis in two different colours. I bought the fabric because I needed a more affordable option to make toiles for garments that are made in fabrics with drape because muslin can possibly misrepresent how the finished garment will look. The quality of this fabric is so good that I am looking forward to making some wearable toiles. The drape is lovely and the hand feel is soft and smooth. I didn't notice shrinkage after pre-wash and a quick ironing returned the fabric to same drape and feel. I also bought 10 yards of broadcloth along with this and the quality of that was as good as the challis. In the past, I have also bought voile and it has the nicest, softest feel and like the challis and broadcloth, there was no change in look or feel after the pre-wash. Looking forward to buying more from FWD.

Beautiful quality!
