These left-in zippers are attached by inserting the pin from the left, into the pull on the right side. YKK #5 Aluminum Separating Zippers feature an open-end, meaning the zippers can separate from each other when unzipped. Furthermore, these zippers have an auto-locking feature that prevents unwanted unzipping. The only way to zip or unzip YKK #5 Aluminum Separating Zippers is by using the pull or slider. This silver-colored slider measures approximately 1 inch by a 1/4 inch and is easy to grasp. The pull stands out amongst the colorful tape that measures 9/16 inches in width on one side, or a combined 1 & 1/8 inches when zipped, and is made from durable, easy-to-clean polyester.
