This fabric measures 48 inches wide, has a 130 GSM, weighs approximately 5.5 ounces per linear yard, and is 0.27 millimeters thick. Comfortably textured, Cotton Muslin fabric (48") is a slightly sheer fabric that has a stiff drape when the fabric is hung.

Unbleached cotton muslin
I make lap quilts(no batting) for wheelchair bound seniors at a facility. I used the muslin as a “backing” and it works very nice. The front of the quit is pieced and the back is one solid piece.

Held up in the wash, great for cheese, and sewing!
Muslin pending on the quality is great for draining liquids from solids when making the cheeses I eat. As well, it's good for straining liquids well past any marketed for food cheesecloth I've used. Get liquids clearer with muslin! As well it's good for mock ups for skirts and eloquent blouses.
