Description
Ottertex® Waterproof 70 Denier PVC Backed Nylon Taffeta is a durable, smooth textured, and waterproof fabric. Woven in a plain, taffeta-style weave, Ottertex® Waterproof 70D PVC Backed Nylon Taffeta fabric is sourced from heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant, and color fade-resistant, 70 denier 100% nylon fibers. Additionally, this fabric features a PVC backing for protection, added support, and to make this fabric fully waterproof. Ottertex® Waterproof 70D PVC Backed Nylon Taffeta is PFAS-free and has been updated with a PFAS-free coating. While the fabric is stiff and holds its shape well, it is still pliable and can be easily manipulated to fit your needs. Measuring 60/61 inches wide, Ottertex® Waterproof 70D PVC Backed Nylon Taffeta fabric is 0.27 millimeters thick, has a 300 GSM, and weighs approximately 21.6 ounces per linear yard.
Use Ottertex® Waterproof 70 Denier Nylon Taffeta fabric to create a variety of stylish indoor and outdoor, gear or garments that can withstand heavy use. Perfect fabric for project
I purchased this package backed taffeta for a banner printer cover. The client was so pleased and said, "That is the perfect fabric for this!" It's waterproof and dust will just brush right off. It was easy to work with. I was even able to press out wrinkles from shipping using a pressing cloth. Highly recommend.

Did not have a classy tafetta like feel to it
I didn't end up using it I bought it to line a bag thinking it would have a classy feel to it, but it felt like plastic. Not sure what I will use it for, maybe to line pockets in totes. Going back to wpc. Wish the hexagon came in more colors or I would use it. I would recommend it for a different project.

I am loving the Nylon Taffeta!
I am a bag maker and always looking for new bonded fabrics. The Waterproof back Taffeta is awesome for bag making. I have used it as exterior and lining material. I wish it came in more colors as I have almost all the colors currently offered.
